Yet these observations often fail to explain why teams that look aligned on the surface still struggle to move forward together, or why some groups naturally develop a shared direction while others keep pulling in different ways.
Many critical shifts happen before they become visible: shifts in alignment, commitment, and positioning that are not yet picked up by traditional signals.
The missing layer
There is a relational layer underneath observable behaviour that quietly shapes how groups function over time. This layer includes:
- Coordination dynamics that emerge slowly
- Latent misalignment (small frictions that later become big problems)
